Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Previous orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients
• Perform musculoskeletal assessments and monitor recovery
• Manage post-operative care for joint and bone surgeries
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
• Assist with mobility, rehabilitation, and fall prevention
• Monitor surgical sites, casts, and traction devices
• Collaborate with physicians and therapy teams
• Educate patients on recovery and discharge care
• Document care and patient progress in the EMR
