Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience with Epic proficiency and strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular specialization.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical case experience required
- Epic EMR — experience required
- On-call may be required
- Weekend requirement: 1 in 3
- Rotating holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
- Current BLS and/or applicable certifications required — must be issued by AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Flu vaccine required — only medical exemptions (signed by a licensed professional) are accepted; personal and religious declinations will not be accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
- No blocked scheduling
- More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
