Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP) position is available in Potosi, Missouri. This role involves assessment responsibilities with a lighter caseload, along with some department of rehabilitation (DOR) duties. The position requires candidates to demonstrate strong leadership skills, oversee compliance with patient designation, and coordinate care for high-acuity patients. Candidates are required to bring their Missouri state license on the first day.
Job Details:

- Required Qualifications: One year of speech-language pathology experience; experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility or long-term care rehabilitation setting; knowledge of the patient driven payment model (PDPM); Missouri State License; no new graduates accepted for this position

- Additional Information: This position involves attending morning and facility meetings, managing schedules, and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team (PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA). The clinician will oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes, develop rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, monitor clinical and financial performance metrics, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Submission requirements include at least 1 year of speech-language pathology experience, leadership experience in SNF/LTC rehab settings, knowledge of PDPM, and a valid Missouri State License.
