Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and airway management
Monitor ventilator settings and assist with mechanical ventilation management
Perform patient assessments and evaluate response to respiratory treatments
Assist physicians and healthcare teams during respiratory emergencies and critical care procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation and respiratory care records
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital respiratory care protocols
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Active BLS certification required
Previous hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred
Experience working night shifts in an acute care setting preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Schedule Details:
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
3x12-hour shifts per week
Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs
Facility Setting:
This is an acute care hospital setting within the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department.
