\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (central sterile / CSPD)\n
• Specialized experience processing orthopedic (Ortho) and neurosurgical (Neuro) instruments\n
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required (e.g., CRCST, CBSPD or equivalent)\n
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, instrument assembly, and infection control standards\n
• Travel experience highly preferred — experience with contract or travel sterile processing technician positions a plus\n
• Bilingual or additional certifications in sterile processing are favorable\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

• Perform decontamination, inspection, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments with emphasis on Ortho and Neuro specialties\n
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (autoclaves, sterilizers) and follow hospital sterilization protocols\n
• Ensure compliance with infection control, hospital policies, and industry standards for central sterile processing\n
• Maintain accurate records of instrument processing, sterilization cycles, and inventory control\n
• Support efficient operating room (OR) turnover by collaborating closely with surgical teams and OR staff\n
• Identify, report, and troubleshoot equipment or instrument issues promptly to minimize OR delays\n
