Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

About the Opportunity

Corvi Talent is placing Senior Estimators and Estimators with commercial general contractors across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and Texas. We have multiple active openings for clients ranging from regional GCs to national builders with strong DFW project pipelines.

Project Types: Commercial office, retail, industrial/tilt-wall, education, healthcare, and ground-up multi-family. Project values typically range from $5M to $100M+.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the full bid process from ITB receipt through proposal submission
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for all trades (self-perform and subcontracted)
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop conceptual and schematic-level estimates during preconstruction
• Prepare and present bid packages to ownership and business development teams
• Collaborate with Project Managers during buyout and project kickoff
• Maintain historical cost data and develop unit cost benchmarks
• Support value engineering efforts

What Our Clients Are Looking For:

• 5–12 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Strong takeoff skills — experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
• Working knowledge of all major trades (concrete, steel, MEP, finishes)
• Experience estimating projects $5M–$100M+ in value
• Proficiency in estimating software (Sage Estimating, Heavy Bid, ProEst, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret full construction document sets

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary $95,000 – $125,000 depending on experience
• Bid/win bonuses

• Hybrid/flexible schedule available for many of our clients (2–3 days in office)
