Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong field experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and day-to-day site activities across ground-up or large commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily on-site construction activities and project execution
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations
Coordinate inspections and ensure quality control standards are met
Resolve on-site issues and delays proactively
Maintain site reports, logs, and documentation
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management preferred
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
Strong knowledge of commercial construction and field operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deadlines
Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects
Familiarity with construction management software
OSHA certification is a plus
