DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position leads the psychological services program at Ebensburg Center by overseeing staff, shaping policies, and guiding high-quality services for residents. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Leadership: Direct the work of Psychological Services Specialists and other assigned staff, including training, scheduling, and performance review
- Policy Oversight: Maintain and update departmental procedures that meet all Ebensburg Center, DHS, and other regulatory standards
- Program Coordination: Guide professional development and integrate new practices into ongoing psychological services
- Interdisciplinary Support: Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure compliance and high-quality residential services
- Resident Services: Provide clinical consultation and participate in diagnostic and treatment planning for residents
- Department Accountability: Monitor implementation of treatment plans and follow up on incident management requirements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This will include on-call hours on weekends and evenings on a rotation.
- Travel and overtime as needed.
- This may change based on operational needs.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or a Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral dysfunction.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possess a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out of state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
