About the Role
If you enjoy improving how meetings programs run at a global level, this role is for you. As the Global Meetings Program and Technology Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day success of a global meetings program with a strong focus on meetings technology, contracting, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
In this role, you'll support and optimize the meetings technology experience, currently Groupize, while partnering closely with client stakeholders and sourcing teams across regions. You'll take a consultative approach to understand current workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and help drive more consistent, scalable ways of working.
This role also requires strong experience in contract review and negotiation, along with the ability to turn reporting and program data into meaningful business insights and recommendations. You'll work closely with a Europe-based Global Travel Manager, so your schedule will need to align across GMT and PT time zones (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PT).
What You'll Do

Manage and support key elements of a global meetings program, with a focus on operational consistency and user adoption

Serve as a subject matter resource for the meetings technology platform, currentlyGroupize, including day-to-day support, issue resolution, and process guidance

Partner with client administrators and sourcing teams to understand how they use the system today and recommend improvements

Create and maintainSOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support program users and promote best practices

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, simplify processes, and drive efficiencies across meetings operations

Review, negotiate, and supportmeeting and event contracts, with a strong understanding of risk, supplier terms, and business requirements

Support venue sourcing and supplier engagement as needed

Analyze multiple reports and data sources to deliver clear, relevant business insights and program recommendations

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across regions and time zones to keep program priorities moving forward
You're Good At
- Managing global meetings programs, meetings operations, or event technology tools

You Might Also Have

Experience supporting a global meetings technology platform in an administrative or power-user capacity

Familiarity with meetings, travel, sourcing, and supplier management processes

Experience working with client-facing teams in a consultative or advisory role

Strong analytical skills and comfort reviewing multiple reports to provide meaningful business insights

Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones

HCP or Life Sciences planning experience

Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%
We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Global Meetings Program & Technology Manager is between $70,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
