Inventory Specialist

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for the Winsted, CT and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting daily warehouse and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain inventory levels accurately
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies
• Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits
• Organize and maintain warehouse/storage areas
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and management teams
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Prepare inventory reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory software or spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Forklift experience is a plus
