Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant position available in Missouri. The role involves providing rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Candidates are required to bring their active State Licensure/Registration on the first day. The schedule is day shifts, and there are no weekend shifts unless a holiday falls on a weekday, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend.

Job Details:

  • Location: Oregon, Missouri
  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: One (1) year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience in LTC or SNF settings, active State Licensure/Registration as an OTA, and relevant certification/licenses.
  • Responsibilities include: Utilizing evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions; providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients under supervision; administering procedures such as activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices; assessing patient progress and communicating with supervising Occupational Therapist; documenting all clinical and regulatory information accurately; participating in team meetings, trainings, and conferences; supporting students under supervision; and adhering to professional practice acts, ethics, and conduct standards.
  • Additional Information: No weekend shifts unless a holiday occurs within a weekday, then hours may be made up on the weekend.
  • Submission Requirements: Successful candidates must submit their OTA license; the license must be submitted at the posted rate, and if the required rate is higher, the candidate will be redirected. New graduates with Level II experience are welcome, provided they meet the experience criteria.
