Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Reach Truck Operators to join our warehouse team in Jackson, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment by using a Cherry Picker (Order Picker). This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while working in a fast-paced environment.

Shift

• 1st shift 7:00am-4pm Monday-Friday (Overtime as needed)

Pay Rate

• $19.00/hour

Duties

• Using a Reach Truck Operator (Similar to a stand-up Forklift, but you go up with the forks and are harnessed in) to accurately pull orders.
• Utilizing an RF Hand Scanner to pick and pull orders according to customer specifications.
• Utilize other warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks or pallet jacks, to move products safely.
• Maintain organization of inventory and ensure proper storage of items.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (experience with forklifts is a plus).
• Good physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within deadlines.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2+ Years of Cherry-Picking Operating experience (Will accept Order Picker, High/Low & Turret Truck)
• Ability to work well with a team or independently
• Follow instructions and understand sense of urgency
• Ability to use an RF Hand Scanner
• MUST be able to follow all safety procedures at all times
• Able to lift up to 45lbs periodically
• Able to stand for 8 to 10 hour shifts
