Medical Assistant (Part-Time – ~20 hrs/week)
Appleton, WI
We are a very small, specialized pain management clinic seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant. Our practice provides medication management, interventional pain procedures, regenerative therapies, and medical infusions in a professional, patient-focused environment.
This role is ideal for someone motivated to learn multiple new clinical skills and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of procedures and therapies.
Compensation & Benefits
- $21/hour (W2)
- 11 paid federal holidays (prorated based on hours worked)
- Flexible, predictable part-time schedule (~20 hours/week)
- Potential to increase hours and transition to full-time over time, if desired
Job Summary
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing a combination of clinical and administrative duties.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist physicians during simple and advanced procedures (instrument and material handling)
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical spaces
Clinical & Administrative Duties (May Include)
- Interview patients and obtain medical history
- Record medical history, vital signs, and test results in EMR
- Perform routine screening (height, weight, blood pressure)
- Draw blood, remove sutures, and change dressings
- Clean, refill, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
- Purchase and maintain supplies and equipment
· Prepare prescription orders for physician review and signature (non-prescribing role; all orders finalized by the physician)
- Learn and manage braces and corsets
- Learn and perform electrical physical therapies

Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree preferred
- Experience: 1–2 years of related experience preferred (or strong, motivated entry-level candidate)
Licenses / Certifications
- CPR and/or First Aid certification (required; can be obtained during initial workdays)
- HIPAA certification (can be obtained during initial workdays)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
