Brake Press Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift

2nd or 3rd Shift.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Cincinnati hydraulic CNC press brakes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC hydraulic press brakes and punch presses for production work
• Select, load, and install tooling based on job specifications and setup instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
• Record production and labor information using computerized tracking systems
• Safely operate forklifts and assist with material handling
• Identify and communicate production, material, or quality concerns
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist in other areas when needed
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating press brakes, punch presses, or similar fabrication equipment preferred
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read blueprints and use standard measuring tools
• Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED required
  

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment is preferred
