Job Details
- Location: Albany, NY
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of a training program in a Radiation Therapy Technology program in an AMA (American Medical Association) approved school, meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and being licensed as a Radiation Therapist by the State of New York Department of Health, with ARRT certification.
- Additional Information: Effective 1/11/2024, local candidates are no longer being accepted by the organization. The Radiation Therapist will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist, accurately enter and maintain treatment parameters into the electronic medical record, and observe patients' reactions to treatment. Candidates should adhere to radiation safety protocols and display professional conduct at all times.
