Clinical Scope
Providers will manage a broad mix of community emergency medicine cases including:

• General medical emergencies
• Trauma stabilization
• Adult and pediatric emergency care
• Cardiac and respiratory emergencies
• Acute illness and injury management
• Procedural emergency medicine

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • Internal Medicine
• Active Virginia Medical License
• Active DEA Registration
• ACLS Required
• ATLS Required for non-EM boarded physicians
• PALS Required for non-EM boarded physicians
• NRP Required for non-ABEM physicians
• EM residency-trained new graduates may be considered
• FM/IM physicians must possess current emergency medicine experience
