REGISTERED NURSE- ICU

 

What You Bring to the Team:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU nursing experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
• Expertise in managing multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and complex ventilator support
• Strong IV therapy skills including arterial lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips for critical patient stabilization
• Competence in thoracic procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal and ventilator management
• Familiarity with infection prevention protocols and PPE use
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments

Additional Skills That Set You Apart:

• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Knowledge of surgical wounds, wound vacs, and isolation precautions
• Ability to assist with advanced respiratory therapies like BiPAP and CPAP

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN license
• At least 18 months of experience in a critical care setting
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response training
