Occupational Therapist School Setting in South Holland, IL

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (Illinois)
• Experience providing OT services in school-based settings preferred
• Competence with evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Ability to work independently and with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
• Familiarity with elementary-aged caseloads is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions for elementary students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy services according to IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and special education staff
• Maintain clear and timely documentation for all student sessions
• Contribute to IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary planning for student success
• Utilize creative, age-appropriate strategies to boost functional independence in the classroom

• Full-time schedule: 32.5 hours weekly
• School year contract: August 2026 through May 2027
• Elementary caseload
