Instruments Test Tech - Now Hiring

Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking an Instruments Test Tech to join their team. As an Instruments Test Tech, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Instrument Testing and Quality Assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Instruments Test Tech

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization of instruments.
• Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues in test equipment.
• Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failures.
• Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements to enhance product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting.
• AA degree in mechatronics or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting measurements, and understanding work instructions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
