Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift radiology position requiring a minimum of 1 year of CT experience, ARRT certification, and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting
- Serves inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients
- 5x8 hour night shifts, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Weekend coverage on a rotational basis
- Holiday coverage on a rotational basis
- Backup on-call rotation in addition to scheduled shifts
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant CT technologist experience
- Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology or a college diploma in a related field
- Current BLS (AHA), ARRT (R), and CNCT or ARRT CT certification
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans for a range of diagnoses including inpatient, outpatient, and ED cases, applying correct protocols and technical factors per ACR guidelines
- Responsibilities include patient positioning, IV contrast administration, image quality verification, and archiving to PACS
- Uses Meditech for case completion and documentation in addition to Epic
- Document patient history, contrast screening, charges, and any adverse events or incidents
- Maintain supply inventory and ensure appropriate inventory levels are reported in a timely manner
- Candidate interviews are conducted by facility leadership
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment for more than 1 year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
