Procurement Administrator

CTR Group is seeking a PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR for an Industrial Government facility in Newport News, VA.

A Contract Position for One Month.

Pay Rate: 30.00 per Hour.

SUMMARY:

• Assist with the deobligation of funds on purchase orders by conducting research, coordinating with internal customers, vendors, and Procurement Officers, and preparing the required modifications.
• Assist with procuring supplies and equipment using simplified acquisition and/or purchasing procedures
• Ensure procurement actions are competitive to the maximum extent possible.
• Manage vendor inquiries and receive quotes from vendors
• Evaluate quotations and prepare documents for award
• Monitor cost and funding status, and ensure sufficient funds are available for all actions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Maximo and/or Costpoint Software
• Knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) in particular Simplified Acquisition Threshold (Procurements <$250,000)
• Ability to professionally and effectively interact with team members and internal and external customers
• Demonstrated skill in the areas of analytical problem solving, customer service, decision making, and written/verbal communications
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
