Welder - nVent - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in structural and galvanneal metal fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Welder you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and fabrication of high-quality metal structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Millington, MD

Pay Range: $19-$24

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Welding out of position on structural and galvanneal metal components
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and fabricating materials accordingly
• Standing up wall panels, installing roof support beams, insulation, wall skins, and roof panels
• Installing tech screws to connect panels and caulking seams between panels
• Installing batt fiberglass insulation, fiberboard insulation, and sheetrock, along with transferring buildings within the facility as needed

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of welding experience
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints accurately
• Skilled in utilizing cutting torches, buffers, grinders, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers
• Ability to meet physical and environmental demands, including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
