Industrial Electrician – Oil & Gas / Refinery - NM Journeyman License required
Location: New Mexico
Duration: 6-Month Project
Schedule: 60 Hours per Week
Compensation Options:
- $47.00/hour + $125.00 Per Diem
We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman Industrial Electrician with oil & gas or refinery experience for a 6-month, high-hour industrial project in New Mexico. This role requires strong field installation capabilities in hazardous environments.
Mandatory Requirements
- Active New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License (REQUIRED – no exceptions)
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Proven background in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities
- Conduit installation experience (RMC/IMC/EMT)
- Threading experience (manual and power threading equipment)
- Experience bending rigid conduit
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and P&IDs
- Experience working with:
- MCCs
- VFDs
- Motor controls
- PLC troubleshooting
- 480V–13.8kV systems
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E
