Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in inpatient care in Brush, Colorado. This position involves providing screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders. The role requires development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical standards, along with patient and family education.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program; current licensure in the state of practice; Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year; BLS certification required; ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare providers; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency with relevant computer software applications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves providing direct patient care in a clinical environment, including assessments, treatment planning, and patient education. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs.
