Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing and dynamic finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle accounting process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, with a strong focus on accurate application of debits and credits
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Analyze financial results and variances, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of debits and credits and overall accounting fundamentals
• Experience with financial analysis and ability to interpret financial data
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
