Locums Family Medicine Physician in Iowa - Full Spectrum Practice, Rural Medicine
Enjoy a broad-spectrum Family Medicine practice that combines clinic care, hospital rounding, and nursing home coverage. This assignment is ideal for physicians who enjoy continuity across multiple care settings.
Practice & Cases
- Outpatient primary care and inpatient rounding responsibilities
- Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
- Office procedures including lesion removal and laceration repair
Schedule
- Monday through Friday coverage
- Hospital rounds completed before clinic
- Shared physician call rotation
- Weekend rounding responsibilities during call assignments
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Iowa license required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS required
Logistics
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
- Open to physicians with an active IMLC LOQ
