Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Solder/Brazer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working with soldering irons and enjoys working in a physically active setting.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Solder/Brazer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working with soldering irons and enjoys working in a physically active setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering and brazing on metal components with precision and accuracy
- Cross train with other positions in department
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, or drawings to assemble products to specification
- Use hand and power tools and measuring equipment, including a tape measure, to ensure quality and accuracy
- Fitting door frames
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Lift and move up to 75 lbs as required
- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a 10-hour shift
- Adhere to all safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
- Some mig welding experience would be a plus
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Experience with hand and power tools (especially saws)
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work overtime when needed, including occasional Fridays and Saturdays
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role for extended periods
- HS/GED required
- Pass a safety-sensitive drug test
- Clean background check
- Must have a valid drivers license
