Material Handling Equipment Operator

Overview:

Skills and Experience:

• Operate material handling equipment such as:
  • Forklifts
  • Reach trucks
  • Cherry pickers/order pickers
  • Electric pallet jacks
  • Stand-up forklifts
  • Clamp trucks (if applicable)
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Move product throughout the warehouse and storage areas
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Experience operating MHE equipment preferred
• Ability to pass equipment certification/training
• Basic computer or RF scanner experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
