Our client, a premier law firm, is looking for an experienced litigation attorney to join their team in Boston, MA. This role offers the chance to handle sophisticated disputes, advise businesses operating in highly regulated markets, and contribute to a growing practice focused on complex and evolving legal issues. Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience) + bonuses
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote but flexible)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a broad range of civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, consumer protection claims, product liability actions, and intellectual property litigation.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related filings.
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
- Work closely with attorneys and support staff to develop litigation strategies and secure successful outcomes for clients.
- Advise clients on litigation exposure, risk management considerations, and strategic opportunities throughout the course of representation.
- Support the firm’s business development efforts through client engagement, networking, marketing initiatives, and relationship building.
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of litigation experience, preferably representing businesses and corporate clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative appeals.
- Experience in commercial litigation, defense-side product liability matters, or admission to the California Bar is preferred.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar and good standing in all applicable jurisdictions.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing abilities.
- Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- High level of professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to exceptional client service.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven practice.
