Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration, and current ODH licensure for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details
  • Works in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving both acute care inpatient and outpatient clinical locations
  • Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT
  • 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shifts as part of a PET rotation
  • On-call rotation every 4th week covering Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Rotates within the department as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration required
  • Current Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required if applicable
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program required
  • PET/CT experience or PET/CT advanced registry eligibility preferred
  • PET/CT advanced certification preferred
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Operates nuclear medicine equipment and all related instrumentation
  • Makes imaging decisions regarding technique, positioning, and radiation protection
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a supervising Radiologist and documents appropriately, with awareness of potential adverse reactions
  • Practices sterile technique and cross-contamination prevention protocols
  • Maintains accurate records including proper labeling of images for interpretation
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
