Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nDay shift, 4x10 hours (07:30 AM - 06:30 PM); No weekends or holidays required.
Job Description\nThe Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized nursing care for patients in an outpatient oncology setting. The nurse will work closely with a specific tumor group and administer chemotherapy, manage ports, and support patients in their treatment journey.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care protocols. \n
- Access and manage ports, including care and maintenance. \n
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and support resources. \n
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate abnormal lab values. \n
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions. \n
- Adhere to safety and isolation precautions while providing care. \n
- Float among clinics as needed. \n

- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient oncology experience is required. \n
- Current BLS certification is mandatory. \n
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission. \n
- OCN certification is preferred. \n
