Ada is located in northwestern Minnesota in the heart of the Red River Valley, one of the most productive farming regions in the world. The community offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere while being conveniently located just 45 minutes from Fargo, ND and roughly 240 miles northwest of Minneapolis.

Facility:
This is a Level IV Trauma Center featuring a 14-bed Critical Access hospital that serves the local community. The facility operates as a physician-led organization with a collegial, team-oriented department and utilizes EPIC DAX ambient voice technology for clinical documentation.

Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide emergency medicine coverage for a few weekends per year
• Work 63-hour shifts from Friday 4:30pm through Monday 8:00am
• Manage an average of 8-15 patients per weekend
• Work alongside Family Medicine physicians who also cover the Emergency Medicine department
• Collaborate within a collegial, team-oriented department environment
• Utilize EPIC DAX ambient voice technology for clinical documentation
• Must be BC/BE Emergency Medicine or BC/BE Family Medicine with EM experience or additional training
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS/CALS, and PALS
• Opportunity for casual/PRN scheduling with flexible weekend coverage

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
