Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
The practice is situated in a clinic physically connected to a respected community hospital, providing seamless integration of services. As a full-time Pediatrician, you will provide comprehensive clinic coverage, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to a diverse pediatric population. The ability to perform circumcisions is desired but not mandatory. You will utilize the Allscripts/AEHR electronic medical record system, ensuring efficient and coordinated patient care.
Schedule and Assignment Details
This is a full-time locum assignment with the expectation of providing coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The start date is as soon as credentialing is complete, typically within 2-4 weeks. The assignment can be split between two providers, allowing for flexible scheduling opportunities.
Support and Work Environment
Join a well-supported pediatric service line, where each provider is paired with an RN or LPN, alongside a dedicated CNA. The clinic fosters a collaborative environment, ensuring that you have the resources and support needed to focus on patient care. Onboarding includes a comprehensive orientation with a Clinical Informaticist to assist with system access and training, along with a patient 'ramp-up' plan to ease your transition into the practice.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Pediatrics is required
- Active ND state medical license
- Current BLS, PALS, or NRP certification
- Clean malpractice history required
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
