Primary Care Physician Lead – Geriatric-Focused Primary Care

Full-Time | Coastal Location | Beachside Community
Compensation: $292,000 – $341,500 + Performance Bonus

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Physician Lead to anchor and grow an outpatient senior-focused practice located in a desirable beach community.

This role requires:

You will serve as both a hands-on clinician and a strategic clinical leader, working closely with executive leadership to develop functional strategies and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Practice Model

This is outpatient, continuity-based medicine focused on:

• Preventive care
• Chronic disease management
• Health maintenance
• Senior-focused primary care
• Coordinated specialty referrals

You will:

• Manage a diverse senior patient population
• Maintain medical histories and records
• Refer appropriately to specialists
• Participate in limited phone-based call coverage
• Provide independent clinical judgment on complex cases
• Help shape operational and care delivery strategy

This role works under minimal supervision and requires strong independent decision-making skills.

Leadership Expectations

This is not an entry-level position.

We are seeking a physician with:

• 8+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of project or leadership experience
• Comfort mentoring and guiding clinical teams
• Ability to build patient trust and grow a practice

You will report directly to executive clinical leadership and play a meaningful role in shaping the practice's direction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Board Certification (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine preferred)
• Active state licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in outpatient senior-focused care strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in limited phone-based call

This is a patient-facing role and requires standard clinical compliance screenings.
