Job Description

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a key role supporting students and educators as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a large, dynamic district in the Chattanooga area. In this district-based position, you'll collaborate with a team of skilled professionals stationed at the district office, serving a broad network of schools through a streamlined referral process. Enjoy a balanced full-time schedule—35 hours per week—with a typical workday running approximately 8:00am to 3:30pm, thoughtfully structured around the varying start times of different schools.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the renowned Vanderbilt Triad program, including monthly consults that foster professional growth through valuable data sharing and feedback. Additionally, benefit from a robust help desk model designed to support BCBAs and prevent overwhelming caseloads. Your focus will be on providing high-quality behavioral expertise and positive support to a diverse range of age groups across the district.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, active BCBA license (required)
  • Prior experience working in educational or K-12 settings (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, consultation, and communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple referrals and prioritize urgent needs
  • Commitment to collaborative, data-driven practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult, assess, and develop behavior intervention plans for students referred from schools throughout the district
  • Work closely with school personnel, families, and support staff to implement effective strategies
  • Utilize district resources, including the Triad partnership and help desk, for ongoing professional development and support
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

This contract opportunity aligns with the district’s innovative approach to whole-school well-being, empowering you to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses.

Ready to shape student success and be at the forefront of behavior analysis in education? Submit your application today and take your career to new heights in an exceptional district setting.
