Job Description
Job Title: Family Medicine Physician
Specialty: Family Medicine
Place of Work (City/State): Cass Lake, Minnesota
Duration: Full-time Locum Assignment/ Contract
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday | 8 to 12-hour shifts
Patient Volume: Approximately 12 14 patients per day
License: Any active and unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
Certifications: ABFM or ABIM Board Certified or Board Eligible, BLS required
Experience Needed: Minimum 2 years of Family Medicine experience preferred
Special Skills Needed:
Ability to manage outpatient primary care patient population
Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
Experience working collaboratively with physicians and mid-level providers
Familiarity with RPMS EMR preferred
Ability to meet federal credentialing, background investigation, and fingerprinting requirements
Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks (includes federal background check and fingerprinting; final approval determined by site)
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services in a federally operated IHS facility
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan within scope of practice
Document all encounters accurately in RPMS
Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to ensure continuity of care
Adhere to federal, facility, and IHS clinical guidelines and policies
