Opportunity Highlights

Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This position is based in an inpatient setting within a well-supported healthcare system. The facilities range in trauma level from 1 to 4, providing a diverse environment for practicing general urology. Daily responsibilities include handling a variety of procedures such as cystic lithotripsy, nephrectomy, transurethral resection, prostatectomy, and pselolithotomy. The role is primarily focused on providing call coverage, with APPs handling inpatient rounding and initial ER call contacts during daytime hours.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment involves a 24-hour call schedule with a response time required within 30 minutes. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility to cover a range of dates throughout the year, providing the opportunity to work around personal commitments. The anticipated start is as soon as credentialed, with a typical duration of 6 months or more, ensuring continuity and stability.
Support and Work Environment
As part of a well-coordinated team, you will be supported by a robust infrastructure that includes experienced nurses and medical assistants. The facilities offer advanced surgical technologies such as XI and SI, with block time available for procedures. Qualifications
- Board Certification in Urology is required.
- A Washington State medical license is highly preferred; however, candidates with LOQ for IMLC or those in the process of obtaining a WA license will also be considered.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A clean malpractice and background history is highly preferred.
- Must be able to provide a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of application.
