This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join an employed position within a busy, occupation health clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

 

  • Join an established team of 1 physicians and 2 APPs
  • Call structure: Back up for NBAF Facility 
  • Practice setting: Outpatient
  • Access to Support staff
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Provide occupational health services to the Manhattan community and (as-needed) to NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance and animal handlers
  • Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
  • Provide ergonomics, functional capacity evaluations, physicals, office visits, workplace wellness, rehabilitation, work conditioning, education, and drug testing services

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
