Become a Key Player as a Quality Engineer

You will help ensure product and process quality across manufacturing operations, representing quality in daily production meetings and coordinating with customers and suppliers. Your work directly reduces nonconforming material, improves process capability, and supports production teams onsite in Jacksonville, FL.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Serve as the quality representative at daily production meetings and coordinate closely with manufacturing teams
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations using 8D methodology
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality performance, trends, and corrective actions
  • Develop, write, and revise quality systems, inspection plans, and process documentation
  • Design and apply statistical methods, sampling plans, and control charts to assess and improve process capability
  • Participate on product development and change-review teams to ensure quality considerations are met
  • Perform supplier audits, failure analysis, and disposition of nonconforming materials
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant quality or manufacturing engineering experience
  • Practical knowledge of inspection and quality engineering techniques, testing methods, and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions (8D experience)
  • Experience interacting with customers and handling troubled-customer situations
  • Strong technical writing skills and attention to grammar for developing procedures and reports
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

  • Experience in the aerospace industry or a closely related field
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification (desired)
Pay Range

$40.00 - $44.22/hour
