Part-Time Retail Sales Clerk

Our client, the aviation industry, is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Clerk to join their team. As a Part-Time Retail Sales Clerk, you will be part of the retail operations supporting the gift shop. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part-Time Retail Sales Clerk

Location: Palm Springs, CA

Pay Range: $19.00-$21.00

Shift:  10:30 AM - 5:30 PM 

What's the Job?

• Approximately 25 hours per week
• Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash, credit card, and digital transactions
• Maintain knowledge of museum merchandise, exhibits, memberships, and promotions
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized retail displays
• Assist with inventory counts and receiving merchandise shipments

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail, cashier, customer service, or museum experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and operate computerized POS systems
• Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance
