Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on equipment, following safety standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in equipment setup and calibration for customers, ensuring correct operation.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on equipment handling and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide tools necessary for all required job functions. PDQuipment does supply minimum tools.
- High school diploma or GED; certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably within construction or industrial settings.
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience operating diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair projects, and complete tasks on time.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments.
