Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of construction and industrial equipment used across multiple industries, including fireproofing, pool building, and concrete applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical repair, is detail-oriented, and can effectively troubleshoot equipment to ensure maximum performance and reliability. This position requires advanced technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on equipment, following safety standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in equipment setup and calibration for customers, ensuring correct operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on equipment handling and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Provide tools necessary for all required job functions. PDQuipment does supply minimum tools.
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED; certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably within construction or industrial settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience operating diagnostic tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair projects, and complete tasks on time.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments.
