Inventory Control Clerk-1st Shift-$18/hr.

Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great company in Holland, MI which has facilities located through the United States, an American manufacturer and supplier of air, electrical, and brass components for the heavy-duty trucking industry who is looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to start immediately. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing inventory through database and maintaining levels required daily to meet distribution demands and more.

Inventory Control Clerk Responsibilities:

• Works closely with all departments’ inventory ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Reviews negative quantity in location report and ensures all errors are investigated and corrected.
• Assists with investigating and reporting customer concerns.
• Issues parts to orders and investigates all applicable errors.
• Investigate and report discrepancy when balances are outside prescribed tolerance by inventory class.
• Closes manufacturing orders when completed.
• Enters RA’s and MRS’.
• Make scrap entry for scrap tickets to relieve inventory.
• Reviews IA’s from previous day’s cycle counting via the Detail Count Variance Report.
• Cycle count parts using a handheld RF scanner and electronic scale.
• Enter inventory transactions at computer terminal.
• Assists with processing customer orders when needed.
• Investigates and corrects all reported inventory errors.
• Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer’s specified requirements.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process and follows all safety policies and procedures.
• May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.
• May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime, and weekends if needed.

Inventory Control Clerk Requirements:

• Highs School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience
• Must be familiar with Excel
• Experience with ERP, MRP programs and reports, bar coding systems and wireless devices strongly preferred.
• Must be attentive to detail, results oriented, and able to work with numbers including reading, recording, and counting large quantities accurately.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively work as a team
• Previous hi-lo license preferred, may be required to obtain hi-lo license within 1-month of employment if required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Pass background check/drug screen
• Great attendance and positive attitude
