Applications Engineer

We are recruiting for a company that is looking for an Applications Engineer. See below for responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Obtaining information necessary to develop winning bid packages:
2. Review Specifications – determine job scope, special non-technical requirements.
3. Evaluate requirements for engineering and production hours.
4. Determine equipment delivery requirements – consult management for facility capabilities and capacity.
5. Detail equipment requirements and operation.
6. Attentive review of terms and conditions, warranties, and retentions.
7. Prepare the bid meeting material.
8. Effectively communicate with the sales function to ensure sales team and management are aware of the status of the bid and any needed information required to complete the bid package.
9. Prepare bid package for customer submittal including developing technical exceptions.
10. Answer questions (technical and commercial) from sales team and customers.
11. Develop order entry materials when order is received and interface as necessary until the work is turned over to engineering, operations, and contracts.

Qualifications:

1.    College degree in technical discipline or extensive industry experience.
2.    Minimum of 1-2 mechanical or electrical engineering experience.
3.    Must be proficient in understanding Power Distribution equipment
