Field Inspector - Now Hiring

Our client, in Waco NE, a leading agricultural/seed production organization, is seeking a Field Inspector to join their team. As a Field Inspector, you will be part of the Field Operations Department supporting Seed Production and R&D Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and reliability which will align successfully in the organization. 

Job Title: Field Inspector
Location: Waco, NE
Pay Range: 20.00/hr

What’s the Job?

• Collect quality data in the field using a company-issued iPhone, including silk % and pollen counts
• Walk multiple miles daily across varying terrain to scout and inspect agricultural fields
• Perform indoor and outdoor seed production activities including planting, pollinating, harvesting, and data entry
• Meet each morning at the Waco site, then travel in your personal vehicle to assigned fields (fields may be up to an hour away)
• Assist with seed processing tasks such as cleaning, sorting, labeling, packaging, and inventory handling

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or GED (or related experience)
• Ability to walk long distances and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing/sitting for extended periods)
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for work-related travel
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English and adhere to safety protocols
• Basic computer skills (MS Office/Excel) and willingness to learn handheld data collection systems

• Shift: 7 am - 3 pm. Consistent first shift schedule (7:00 AM start) with potential overtime during peak seasons
• Wages: 20.00/hr
• Mileage reimbursement: Paid mileage from the Waco site to all assigned fields; mileage to and from home is not reimbursed
