Job Description
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the face of CarBlock in your local market. You will visit automotive dealerships in person, bypass the gatekeepers, and pitch directly to owners, General Managers, and Used Car Managers.
Your goal is not just to create brand awareness—your ultimate metric of success is driving action. You will guide dealerships through the application process, get them signed up, and walk them through listing their first vehicles or posting buy requests.
Key Responsibilities
- In-Person B2B Outreach: Conduct daily walk-ins at local dealerships to introduce CarBlock.
- Decision-Maker Engagement: Pitch directly to dealership owners, GMs, and inventory managers using a clear, consultative approach.
- Onboarding & Activation: Guide interested dealers through the sign-up process and ensure they take immediate action (listing inventory or posting buy requests).
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Meticulously track every dealership visit, contact, conversation, and follow-up.
- Relationship Management: Follow up with warm leads consistently to overcome objections and push them across the finish line.
- Market Feedback: Report field insights, common objections, and competitor activity back to the leadership team.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Sales Drive: Experience in outside sales, door-to-door sales, B2B sales, or the automotive/dealership industry is highly preferred.
- Fearless Communicator: You are comfortable walking into a business unannounced and starting a conversation with executive-level decision-makers.
- Resilient Mindset: You view rejection as just part of the sales process and possess the persistence to follow up until a deal is closed.
- Self-Starter: Exceptionally organized, reliable, and capable of managing a field schedule with zero supervision.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable explaining a digital platform and helping users navigate a mobile or desktop signup.
