Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Sonographer (OB/GYN) – North Carolina
Start Date: July 8, 2026
Location: Mount Pleasant, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 08:00 - 16:30; 40 hours per week available; No call, no weekends, no float requirement
Highlights:
- High-risk obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine clinic setting performing 5-8 specialized scans per day
- Advanced fetal imaging including fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and comprehensive anatomical surveys across all trimesters
- Work with state-of-the-art GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment in a dedicated perinatal care environment
- Epic and Viewpoint charting systems with streamlined documentation workflow
- 13-week contract with up to 7 days approved time off; first-time travelers welcome
- Consistent weekday schedule with no on-call or weekend coverage requirements
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB) with Fetal Echocardiography (FE) required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound sonography experience
- Demonstrated competency in high-risk OB, maternal fetal medicine, and obstetrics settings
- Proficiency with GE Voluson E10 equipment preferred
- Experience with fetal anatomical surveys, amniotic fluid index, multiple pregnancy imaging, and Doppler studies
- Epic charting system experience required
- North Carolina or Compact state ultrasound license
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
