Job Description
Job Title: Senior Warehouse Material Handler
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Senior Warehouse Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for material movement, inventory accuracy, and supporting team workflows to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Maintain and update inventory records in the system
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Stage materials for production or shipment as needed
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support team lead or supervisor with daily priorities and workflow coordination
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience required, with strong material handling experience
Experience with inventory systems or RF scanners preferred
Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Previous experience supporting team operations or mentoring others is a plus
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
