Forklift Operator (Reach Truck & Sit-Down) Gastonia NC

Location: Gastonia NC
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-4pm- Friday and Saturday are OT and are mandatory as needed- driven by production
Pay: $19.50

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator who is skilled in both reach truck and sit-down forklift operations. This role is critical to ensuring efficient handling of materials within a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials

• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipping

• Transport materials from the warehouse to production floor while following all safety guidelines

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs

• Maintain accurate inventory through scanning

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience (at least 6 months) operating reach truck and sit-down forklifts

• Valid driver’s license

• Must pass forklift assessment test

• Must include resume

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse systems preferred

• Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods

Pay Details: $19.50 per hour
