Special Education Teacher – Jasonville, Indiana

2026–2027 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Jasonville, IN to support elementary students for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• 8/4/2026 – 5/22/2027
• 37.5 hours/week
• Onsite position
• Caseload: 22 students
• 1 Instructional Assistant assigned to the classroom

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized academic instruction within a resource classroom setting
• Support students with individualized learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with instructional staff, support personnel, and families
• Maintain student documentation and ensure compliance with educational plans
• Participate in meetings and support implementation of student services and accommodations

Requirements

• Active Indiana Special Education certification required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to support a range of academic and behavioral needs within a resource setting

Pay

• $35–40/hour (depending on experience, credentials, and caseload)
