Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6 months, temp-to-hire
Pay range: $22-25/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a closed door, specialty pharmacy. This is an entry-level opportunity supporting a sterile pharmacy environment that prepares IV medications for patients receiving care at home.
No prior pharmacy experience is required, however an active Washington State Pharmacy Technician Licenses is required. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare or pharmacy careers or who have experience in retail pharmacy environments that are interested in specialty pharmacy operations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and disinfect supplies for sterile medication compounding
- Pull and label medications and supplies for pharmacist verification
- Restock inventory, including vials and IV fluids
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable with light physical work (lifting up to 30 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow structured procedures
Compensation is $22/hr to $25/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
